When I took my first trip to Taiwan many years ago, I immediately felt that special “something” many travelers hone in on the moment they emerge onto the neon-lit streets of Taipei. Unlike most Taiwan travelers, however, I’ve spent the better part of a decade digging deep into the culture and cuisine, and into destinations far beyond Taiwan’s terrific, but well-trodden capital. I even decided to move here!
This is why you should hire to me to plan your trip to Taiwan. When you commission a custom Taiwan itinerary, I leverage my experience living and traveling in Taiwan to create a trip you’ll never forget.
How would you like to discover the most delicious secrets of night markets in Taipei (and beyond)? Peer out on the turquoise waters of Sun Moon Lake from a 12-tiered pagoda? Drive along oft-forgotten parts of Taiwan’s East Coast past postcard-perfect beaches? Time your visit to correspond with Taipei’s famous gay pride festival? No matter where in Taiwan you want to visit, I’ll put together a Taiwan trip itinerary to make memories you’ll never forget.
I can also optimize your free time on Taiwan business trips. I’ve got an expert-level understanding of the vast and efficient transport network that emanates from Taipei, and can get you surprisingly far from the capital, even if you only have a day (or less) between meetings!
Whether you travel for business, pleasure or both, a custom Taiwan itinerary is the best way to make sure you get it right on the first try. I can also plan trips in many neighboring Asian countries (including Japan! and Thailand!), so you can think of me as your one-stop Asia shop.
Whether you prefer to video chat via Skype, email or talk on the phone the old-fashioned way, we’ll chat until I have what I need to create the perfect Taiwan itinerary for you.

Traveling in Taiwan Post-COVID
The bad news? If you’re reading this, coronavirus it still a thing, even though Taiwan has only been minimally affected. The good news? As positive vaccine news spreads globally (see what I did there?), it’s become more and more likely that things will go “back to normal” sooner rather than later. As a result, I’m currently planning trips to Taiwan starting in January 2022.
“We only had a couple days in Taiwan when we swung through, and we wanted to make them memorable. Robert took great care of us!”
“Robert had previously planned a couple of Japan trips for us, and I was delighted to find out he put the same effort (and showed the same expertise) when it came to planning out our time in Taiwan.”
“The crazy part is that until I contacted Robert, I was on the fence about visiting Taiwan at all. You shouldn’t be on the fence about either.”
“We wanted to discover unique hikes and other natural destinations in Taiwan. Many of the places Robert recommended felt completely untouched, like we were discovering them!”
-Kristen and Kara, USA
“I definitely plan to contact Robert again the next time I visit Taiwan.”
